Batya Kagan:
Has
a Bachelor’s
degree in Agricultural Ecology, 1984. Additional courses
in soil management, integrated pest control, permaculture design and
horticulture.
I have been in the Santa Cruz area farming/gardening for 25 years. My experiences range from being a backyard gardener to a farm inspector for California Certified Organic Farmers, to a researcher to running my own farm. I have always felt completely enamored with how robust and productive the earth wants to be when given just a little care from us. I love the idea of sharing this knowledge and the gratitude I feel being a part of it.
